A classical Vedic method that reads six auspicious factors out of the outer perimeter of a building. Enter the outer length and breadth in metres — the Nakshatra field is optional, used only to check whether the house's star matches a family member's birth star.
Formulas follow the classical remainder method: Aaya = remainder of (Perimeter×8)÷12, Vyaya = remainder of (Perimeter×9)÷10, Yoni = remainder of (Perimeter×3)÷8, Vara = remainder of (Perimeter×9)÷7, Nakshatra = remainder of (Perimeter×8)÷27, using 1 Hasta = 24 Angula = 72cm. Regional texts vary slightly in the directional and weekday ordering used for Yoni and Vara — treat those two readings as indicative, and the Aaya/Vyaya comparison as the most load-bearing rule of the six.
A traditional table reads an omen out of a room's exact inner length and breadth, in half-metre steps. It is the most folkloric of the calculators here — enjoy it as classical color, and lean on the direction and Ayadi tools for the load-bearing advice.
If a room in your home cannot be moved to its ideal direction, these classical adjustments are traditionally used to soften the imbalance — colour, placement, light and small objects, rather than demolition.
